With St. Patrick's Day coming up soon, I thought it would make sense to write a blog post on the color green. I feel like green can be such a tricky color to wear, but as you can see with the outfits I posted above, it's a chic color to brighten up your day. Give green a chance - after all, Pantone did name Emerald the color of the year.

Outfit 1: Casual Day
I wanted to work with neon green because it can be too bold for some. I think the trick is to wear it with a neutral color. You can go with black to tone it down, but I thought wearing a neon green blouse with white is chic and modern! And if you think you can't wear two bright colors together, think again - bright green looks amazing paired with coral. I would wear this outfit shopping or to run errands

Outfit 2: Work Day
I think a lot of people are reluctant to wear such a bright color to conservative offices but as you can see, it can be done! You have to keep the rest of your look understated to make the green pop but not in an "in your face" kind of way. I am in love with this green pencil skirt (I bought it myself the other day and I can't wait to feature it in an outfit post soon!). The floral print is understated because the flowers are white. Pair it with a blouse and black accessories and you're office-ready.

Outfit 3: Formal Day
I think that when you go to a party or any other kind of formal event, many people opt for a classic LBD. But I think that a classic green dress can look just as beautiful. I like the deep, rich color of this Topshop dress. Because it's so bright, I think that this look is best paired with neutral accessories. Nude heels, clutch, and bracelet are the way to go. Finally go for classic pearl studs and you've got yourself a look to be considered a style icon! I would wear this outfit to a spring wedding or a cocktail party.
