Inspired By: Breakfast at Tiffany's

It's no secret I love Audrey Hepburn. It's also not a secret I consider Breakfast at Tiffany's one of the greatest movies of all time. I have Asian American friends who actually dislike the movie because of Mickey Rooney's portrayal of Mr. Yunioshi in yellowface (which I can understand) but still. I digress...
In any case, I noticed that whenever most people put together Breakfast at Tiffany's outfits, they focus on her black dress that she wore several times throughout the movie. While that was the signature look, I want to remind you all that the movie was 114 minutes long (thanks, Netflix) and she wore more than just an all-black ensemble throughout those 114 minutes.

Moon River - While sitting outside her window with a guitar, she wore black cigarette pants with a light blue sweater and a turban. Luckily for those of us not living in the 60s, turbans have made a comeback so you can rock these without feeling outdated.

Exploring New York City - While creating last memories and doing a lot of "firsts" with Paul Varjack, Holly Golightly wears a pretty orange coat and a hat. See, she didn't shy away from color did she now? :]

Date with José da Silva Pereira - Holly wore a cute pink dress on her date with the rich Brazillian, José. I can't help but want to dance while seeing her fun dress, smiling at the gorgeous South American.
