Belated Halloween | Bowler Hat and Leather Leggings

So I'm not usually a big costume person. I definitely used to love dressing up for Halloween but as I got older there was a lot of Mean Girls-itis ("Halloween is the one night a year you can dress like a total slut and no other girls can say anything about it"). It got to the point where last year I just wore a T-shirt that said "LIFE" on it and handed out lemons (badum tss!)

This year though, I decided to put a little bit of effort and dress up! Can you guys guess who I went as? Hint: Watch or read A Clockwork Orange

I was Alex DeLarge! Happy Halloween!

Top: H&M button down
Bottoms: Forever 21 leggings
Accessories: H&M hat
Shoes: Glaze by Adi heels

  1. Hi dear Deborah, so you are also a fan of clockwork orange - this book I have also behind me in my bookshelf :) Good idea for a costume. Here in Bavaria Helloween isn´t as popular, e. g. no kids are ringing at the door this happens more during the carnivals times :)

Love you in this cool outfit, that hat looks so great on you <3

Wish you a happy rest of the weekend!

  3. The life costume sounds pretty awesome! :)

Hope you had a fun Halloween, here no-one really gets dressed up, maybe if little kids have parties, but that's about it.

  32. HAHA last year's outfit totally made me laugh- that was a good one. my favorite one from last year was a guy with 50 grey paint samples stapled to his shirt (50 shades of grey). I don't like the general sluttiness of halloween either- i always try togo as something clever ;)

  45. Clockwork Orange was haaard work to read, and made me feel sick. I think that people who are capable of doing such awful things and causing such suffering are absolutely deserving of any corrective procedure and shouldn't have any right to free will.
On a lighter note, I love your costume. My favourite costumes are ones that don't look like costumes. The eyelashes are perfect.

By the way, I have really been loving all the lovely comments you leave on my blog and I want you to know I appreciate it a lot <3
