Jet Lagged | Tulip Skirt and Leopard Spots

Hello lovelies!

Finally another outfit posts! It really has been a while, hasn't it? I've been ridiculously jet lagged from my trip to South Korea early this month and it was all I could do to get out of bed during the day to take these photos. DC and Korea has a 13 hour time difference so night and day has been completely switched for me. I can't completely judge how acceptable this outfit is in my sleep-deprived state but I hope you enjoy my ramblings and my semblance of an outfit.

Do any of you guys have any tips on overcoming jet lag in a hurry?

Top: H&M tank, Francesca's cardigan (similar by H&M)
Bottoms: Thrifted skirt (similar here)
Accessories: Stradivarius belt (similar here), J Crew clutch (actually a pouch)
Shoes: Sole Society

  3. For someone who's incredibly jet lagged, you still look great!

I have no tips what-so-ever because I'm horrible at getting over that feeling. I think some people are just prone to dealing with it better than others. I remember getting home from a trip overseas last fall, and even 5 days later, I felt like a zombie at work by the afternoon.

  8. Even in your sleep you can put together an awesome outfit! I think you look great for being on a 13hr difference! Jet lag coming back to the USA was always so much easier for me to overcome.. But, what I usually do (and it works for me.. but I've never fought a 13hr time difference, just 6hr) is force myself to stay awake late at night until I'm ready to drop. By then I'll be SO tired and fall right asleep, and then I'll let myself sleep in in the mornings. I know it sounds like a recipe for disaster, but it just always works for me. Eventually I kind of start wanting to go to bed when it is dark out on my own. Then I work on the battle of getting up at a normal hour each morning. Attack jet lag from both ends. LOL. Good luck!!
