Chilly | Studded Heels and Plaid Scarf

Hello lovelies,
Sorry for the lack of posts this week - I have a work conference I'm helping run and I've been busy busy busy! I even worked on Saturday and Sunday! Posts will be sporadic this week (obviously) but here's an OOTD to hold you guys over. The weather in DC this week was really nice but a bit breezy. I went to some of our event planning meetings over the weekend in this getup - a loose sweater, black jeans, kicking heels, and an oversized scarf!
Let me say something about these shoes though: They are far more comfortable than they look! I never broke them in but I still managed to wear them for a convention day all day (that's 7 am to dinner that ended at 9:30 pm!) and no blisters, bruises or scratches! These are my second pair of shoes from Sole Society and both pairs are super comfortable! This is not a sponsored post, I just really like shoes from them!

Any advice for a newbie at work conferences?

Top: H&M
Bottoms: Zara (similar here at similar price point)
Accessories: Zara scarf (similar here), LOFT sunglasses, J.Crew clutch
Shoes: Sole Society Tiia heels

  2. Looove the colors in that scarf! And comfortable shoes are the best thing ever! I had a pair of bcbg flats that I wore until they literally fell apart and I wish I would have got like 4 pairs because they were so comfortable!

  3. This is a lovely outfit, perfect for meetings and for work! I love your scarf, it looks so cosy. I'm quite impressed with the shoes, you'd think these would hurt (I'm somehow afraid of high heels and never wear them haha) but that's amazing if they don't! Good luck with these busy times. :)

  4. Super cute! I really like the lace with the studs. And the scarf added in gives it that cozy feel while still looking pulled together.

  8. i really love the look of this shoes deb! I actually thought they will be uncomfortable to wear, which is also why i dont own any pointed shoes anymore. i had a pair of really nice pointed boots once, it was so painful to wear that i ended up selling it on ebay hehe. ps. you always dress like a successful, busy, and really fashionable city girl :)
