Leap Year | Plaid Midi Skirt and Gold Accents

Happy Leap Year everyone!
Just a quick post today - I've been recovering from the intense roller coaster ride that was last week! As much as I enjoyed my work conference, it went on for far too long! Glad to be back on schedule!
I am weirdly excited about leap year! Maybe it's because it happens so infrequently but I like marking the times I've lived through it. I have a friend who was actually born on a leap year and we made sure to celebrate big last night!

Speaking of last night, did anyone else watch the Oscars? I said this on Twitter but I honestly was watching for Leonardo DiCaprio to win! I was so happy when he did too! It was seriously about time.

Thanks for reading!

  1. I'm not really a huge fan of the Oscars, but I HAD to watch Leo win his award. His speech was incredible too, so I'm glad I caught that moment.

Love, love, love this outfit! Perfect office style inspiration!

  2. Lovely outfit! I love midi skirts, they're so elegant and easy to style! I'm also happy about Leonardo di Caprio winning an Oscar, haven't seen his film though but for what I know about it, his performance must have been quite amazing!

  4. Love your plaid skirt! I used to have a really similar piece that was perfect for the office, but it was wool and dry-clean only and a pain to get cleaned all the time, so it left in one of my wardrobe clearouts. I still think of it fondly though! :)
