May 2016 Bucket List

Wow, I can't believe it's already May - Where did April go??
With the start of a new month comes my Bucket List. I had a pretty successful time with last month's bucket list and managed to cross off four of the six items! Here's my list for May:
  1. Do the DC Embassy Tour: Every May in DC, the embassies open their doors to visitors who wish to learn more about said country's culture, history, and food! It's a lot of fun and as I haven't done this since my university days, I believe it's high time I revisit the DC tradition!
  2. Watch a baseball game: This is a travesty but I've never gone to watch a baseball game, even though I live four metro stops away from the Nationals stadium! I decided that this is the year to change that! Nats game, here I come!
  3. Spend Mother's Day pampering my mom: Because why not? My mother certainly deserves it!
  4. Buy fresh flowers: To be honest I'm not normally one to buy flowers because I personally hate taking care of them. But there's something to be said about fresh flowers on a warm day that just perks up a dull room!
  5. Go on an impromptu trip: I'm not sure where I want to go yet but I do want to just take off and go on a mini-vacation this month!
What are some of the things on your bucket list this month?

  2. All lovely goals! I find that there are things near me that I've never done like surfing! My town is such a big surfing town but I guess because it's so close you end up thinking about things to do further afield? x

  3. I love these goals for the month-- I've never done the Embassy tours either, but I hear they're so much fun. I can't believe you've never been to a baseball game though :) may is a good time to go before it gets too super hot!

  4. Buy fresh flowers is also on my radar for the Spring/Summer. I don't do the monthly bucket list (although I love yours and probably should start doing it as well) but for the season, I can't wait to grab some fresh flowers. Impromptu trips are also so much fun, I hope you can fit one in and go somewhere amazing!!

    Much Love!

  5. I went to my first baseball game two years ago haha, and it was a Yankee game. The most exciting part of it (at least for me), was watching everyone haha. The collective Ohhhs, Nooos, and Yeahhs from the crowd, are very entertaining haha
