Morning Commute | Pink Bodysuit and Mesh Skirt

I managed to snap these photos on my way to work in the morning. I picked up my iced coffee from Chinatown Coffee Co. and went along my merry way. I took the shady route as it was a scorcher that morning and I saw that the church would be a nice backdrop.
I know it's no European city but I adore the old churches and cathedrals in this city. The architecture is great, considering how young it is in comparison to the centuries old cathedrals of, say England. Still, I like it. We did, however, have to hurry up this photoshoot so I wouldn't be late for work, and I wouldn't keep others from crossing our path. You gotta squeeze in a shoot wherever you can, when you're not a full time blogger, I guess.
Continuing with Monday's post, here is my second bodysuit I ever bought. I wore this to work on the worst of the DC heatwave and I don't think anyone suspected I was wearing a onesie at all! Who says a bodysuit can't be professional?

Thanks for reading!

  3. This is such a pretty outfit! I love your skirt, it's just perfect in shape and length :D Bodysuits can look really neat when they're good quality, and they're more practical than tops to tuck in clothes :)

  4. Wow, you are so commendable even shooting looks on your way to work! I didn't manage to shoot a look just like that in weeks so I always just asked fellow bloggers when we hang out together :P Also I find it really interesting what you say about buildings in the US vs Europe. I often forget that both continents have a very different history and thus also very different architecture. I really wouldn't wanna miss the old buildings in here in Europe though ;)
Also I'm so sorry for not having stopped by your blog in such a long time. Things have been really busy over here lately with finishing university, looking for a job, planning a wedding and looking out for a new home all at once!
    Anyway I hope you're doing fine :)
