Springtime (and especially early springtime) can be a difficult season to dress for. Here in DC the temperatures go from 45 degrees in the morning to 75 in the afternoon. How do you dress for that??
Lucky for you I partnered with Tobi to created two spring looks - one for cold spring days, and one for warmer days.
Tobi is one of the brands I absolutely love for their cool-girl aesthetic! In fact, I bough a couple items from them in the past to prepare for my trip to Hawaii this summer. I'm really excited to style two very fabulous and trendy pieces this spring ; a lace-up bodysuit (that is sure to be a hit in the summer as well), and a floral convertible dress (that would also fit right in at the beach or by the pool).

My first look is has an edgy vibe. This is a great city-chic outfit for those of you experiencing a colder spring - you know, when winter is still hanging on, even though you know it's spring? I really liked the way this bodysuit looks with an all-black ensemble but I can also see myself wearing it with high-waisted shorts in the summer for a festival look. I love the versatility of this bodysuit!

This next look is for those off you in warmer parts of the country (lucky you!) who can walk out of the house in the morning in a dress and no tights. I absolutely love the easy-breezy vibe of this dress! I know floral prints in the spring are cliche but I think the print of this particular dress is a modern update to a classic pattern. I also really love the way the back is convertible - you can tie the dress in different ways! I opted to do a simple criss-cross though. My one hesitation with posting this outfit was how low-cut the front of the dress was - Brian's eyes were bulging out of his head when he first saw me wearing it. I used a little bit of clothes tape to keep the front from going down too low (and until Brian's eyes dialed back a bit). I can totally see myself wearing this to a beach (hello, Hawaii trip!) without the tape in front though. Paired with my trusty denim jacket, this outfit is perfect for a day out in the town this spring!
