Stay Cool, Fool! | Crocheted Tank and Scalloped Skirt

What do you wear when it's too hot to move? As little as possible.
I paired my favorite scalloped skirt with this cute cropped tank. The skirt is high waisted enough to hide the crop but I still like how it looks tucked in to my skirt. The tank breathes really well, which is important to me in 100+ degree weather (yeah, it was sweltering!)

I also recently found these great mule shoes from H&M. I actually used to hate mules but they've seriously grown on me. I bought these inexpensive ones to get me started on the trend but if I really like them, I may update these and get a pair of nicer ones. I'm trying to stop buying things just for the sake of buying them and have my whole space be cluttered with items I don't even like. I've been reading about Marie Kondo's method of organizing and I recently did a closet purge. I also notice that even as I shop, I look only for stuff that makes me truly happy, or sparks joy. These shoes definitely did the trick. Not only are they perfect for the summer, they can totally take me into the autumn season as well!
