Currently... (Vol. 50)

Hello readers! Long time no "Currently"! I've been in upstate New York for a wedding since Thursday (only got back late last night) and it's been a rather exhausting time for me. I do have a few outfit posts photographed last week so I'm really excited to share that this week!
In any case, here are a few things I've been into lately:

Someday, Someday Maybe by Lauren Graham - I just finished this book and it was so sweet! I loved Lauren Graham since the very beginning of her Gilmore Girls days and I had been wanting to read her book, though it had been on my back burner because things got a bit hectic. This book is about a struggling young actress in 1995 which makes me wonder how much of this book is drawn from Graham's own life? If you like Lauren Graham as much as I do (either through Gilmore Girls or Parenthood), I really recommend this book. It's witty and cute and a very fast read!

Bachelor in Paradise - I have fully converted to a Bachelor Nation fangirl so of course I had to watch the most anticipated season of BIP! Have you guys seen how they handled the controversy over the production shutdown? Interesting to say the least!

Chicken Sofritos - I found a great recipe from Strength and Sunshine for these slow-cooked chicken sofritos. They are really good and I made enough to pack for at least a week of lunches!

Summer shandy - I love a good summer drink and a light beer and lemonade combo is always a favorite every summer! I highly recommend summer shandy by Leinenkugel! So yummy!

Maybelline Superstay Matte Ink Liquid Lipstick - When I discovered these, I went out and bought four colors! They're so fabulous - I apply it once in the morning, let it set (takes about three minutes), and it stays on all day! I never have to reapply, and this is after I eat and drink lots of coffee! I once forgot to take my makeup off and I woke up the next morning with my lipstick still there! I don't know what magician came up with the formula but it's amazing!
