Currently... (Vol. 51)

This has been a very tiring week to say the least! Work has been keeping my quite busy but I've managed to get all my posts up this week and start my newsletter! If you haven't already signed up for it, please do so! I'm planning on having my first email newsletter out on Monday and I hope you enjoy it.

Now, on to the things I've been enjoying lately:

Reading:

So You've Been Publicly Shamed by Jon Ronson - I've heard so many things about this book and since I liked Jon Ronson's other book, The Psychopath Test, I really was excited to delve into the world of public shaming. This book really opened my eyes and actually terrified me. My new worst fear is that some joke I say on Twitter or some other form of social media is not going to land and people may take my sarcasm seriously and it will go viral and people will contact my workplace and I'll get fired. It has honestly made me think twice before I participate in public Twitter shamings as well. I highly recommend everyone read this because it's really eye-opening!

Watching:

Bachelor in Paradise - Such a guilty pleasure but it really is my summer show! I can't believe Dean's fall from grace - I really liked him in Rachel's season of The Bachelorette but I have been cringing at his flip-flopping between Kristina and DLo. Make up your mind, Deanie Babies!

Drinking

Grapefruit Weizen from Biergartenhaus - There's a really cool biergarten down the street from me and they have the best grapefruit beer ever! I'm not the biggest beer drinker but I can drink their grapefruit weizen all day!

Eating:

French fries with curry ketchup - Also at Biergartenahaus are the most delicious fries (or chips for my UK friends) and their curry ketchup makes the whole thing that much better! Brian and I are obsessed with it and it's our favorite thing we eat at the biergarten!

Wearing:

Madewell Small Transport Crossbody - I have been wearing this bag everywhere and it's seriously my new favorite! The small size is so convenient and not at all heavy but it's also big enough to carry all my essentials without my having to struggle to keep everything in. It is definitely worth the investment!
