Autumn Reading List

I am happy to say that I've checked off ALL the books I wanted to read this summer and then some! I love reading in general but it was great to have a goal and I want to continue that tradition into the Fall with a few books that are on my To Be Read list:

Related post: Summer Reading List

  • The Hobbit by J.R.R Tolkien - I was actually inspired to re-read this book after realizing it was the 80th anniversary of the book being published. I am so excited to delve back into Tolkien's magical world!
  • In Farley Field by Rhys Bowen - I got this book for free from Amazon Kindle. It takes place during WWII (which was my favorite subject to study in school) and I like to add a bit of historical fiction into my life so I'm looking forward to reading this one.
  • The Fellowship of the Ring by J.R.R. Tolkien - After The Hobbit, one just HAS to read about Frodo Baggins and his adventures with Gandalf, right??
  • Furiously Happy by Jenny Lawson - My friend Jen wrote a great review on this book and I've really been meaning to  read it since then. I think this is going to be my year!
  • Bad Feminist by Roxane Gay - I watched a TED talk by Roxane Gay and it changed my life! I have been wanting to read this book for the longest time and I am finally going to bite the bullet and dive right in.

What are some books on your list right now?

  2. Loved seeing your reading list! I personally want to check out "Turtles All the Way Down" by John Green this fall and re-read a few favorites.

  3. Ohh that Bad Feminist sounds interesting. I am into poetry lately. Some books on my reading list are Love her wild by Atticus and Rupi Kaur's The sun and her flowers.
