January 2018 Bucket List

I'm a bit behind schedule with my bucket list but these posts are honestly some of my favorite posts to write! I always write out my bucket lists in my bullet journal, a week or two before the new month starts so some of the things on my list I've already done. Still, I'll list them here so you guys can see it:

  • Set up my new 2018 bullet journal: This has been done! I bought myself a teal blue/green Leuchtturm 1917 A5 journal at the end of last year and it has been a joy to decorate! I am actually going to be showcasing my monthly bullet journal setups on my blog going forth because you guys seem to really like those posts and I always have so much fun doing them.
  • Read two books: My Goodreads reading goal is set at 25 books this year and they're not going to read themselves! I am almost done reading The Run of His Life: The People vs. O.J. Simpson by Jeffrey Toobin and it's so good. My next book is going to be Promise Me, Dad by Joe Biden and I am so exited for that one!
  • Watch a play at the Shakespeare Theatre: Brian and I are going to watch Hamlet this month and we're gearing up for it! I've been reviewing that play recently to prep myself because it's one of my favorites.
  • Do an electronic clean up: I like to keep my space clean but my emails could use a bit of a touch up as well. I also need to go through and back up my hard drive and delete a ton of files and pictures I honestly don't need anymore.
  • Throw out the Christmas tree: Speaking of cleaning up, I need to get rid of our live Christmas tree. The pines have been getting a bit brittle and it's not as green anymore. I'm glad to have had it up but I'm done with it now haha.

What are some things on your bucket list this month?

  2. Oh if you want to share some tips about your electronic clean up I'm all ears, haha! I spent some time between Christmas and New years trying to clear out my email inboxes but it's taking forever, I let them get too messy! I need to spend more time going through pictures too, I take so many of the boys and it takes me so long to go through and delete the blurry ones and organise them into folders!

Hope that the first week of 2018 went well for you and that this week is off to a good start too!

  4. I definitely need to do an email cleanup and get rid of all the junk and spam mail that comes in.

  5. It's such a nice idea to write down your bucket list at the beginning of every month! :)
