Elisha Coy Moist Up Hyalurone Ampoule Serum

I'm so glad that Korean Beauty products have become so mainstream that I'm seeing them at CVS of all places! I remember the first time I saw a Korean Beauty aisle and I almost lost it - imagine all of the affordable Korean sheet masks, serums, ampoules, toners and the like?

I picked up this ampoule serum at CVS and I've added it to my skincare routine. I figured that since I've used for a while, it would be a good time to do a review of it and share my thoughts on this.

Packaging

You guys know I'm a huge sucker for pretty packaging and this one takes the cake! It's so pretty and makes me think of something that would be on the vanity of a princess. It has a glass dropper as a way to pick up product which seems to be the standard with serums and ampoules. 5/5

Formula

While I absolutely loved the packaging, the product itself was kind of a disappointment. No, there's nothing wrong with it, but it didn't seem to do all that much for my skin. I might as well have slapped water on my face for all it would have done. No moisture retention at all! After the second week, however, I did notice my skin looking a bit brighter though so that was a plus. I started mixing this  into my First Aid Beauty moisturizer in the mornings and I think that helped too. Otherwise, this product is nothing to write home about. 3.5/5

Price

I paid $12.99 for this, which, as far as serums go, is an incredible price. However, considering how average the product is, I almost feel like it's slightly overpriced. Still, it's a lot more affordable than a lot of other serums and ampoules out there so I'll give this a rating of 4/5

Overall, I may just have extra dry skin that just didn't mesh well with the chemistry of this ampoule. If your skin is not as dry as mine, I would look into it, especially as it's not a huge monetary investment.  Still,

  1. Oh it's a shame that this wasn't a winner for you and didn't deliver good results, as everything else about it sounds so good!

Hope you're having a great weekend :) It's a quiet one here as it's too hot to do anything much, another heatwave at the moment!

  2. Honestly, I'm not sure if in Germany Korean beauty brands are as available as now in the USA! But I definitely must check out if and how I can get this serum, thanks a lot for sharing, dear Deborah!
