Fall, Y'All | Plaid Blanket Scarf and Turtleneck

I know I’ve been pretty non-stop with all the autumn-themed posts lately but I can’t help it! I love fall! It’s my favorite season! I love my blanket scarves, my chunky sweaters, my ankle boots, and my deep colors. This outfit encompasses all the things about Fall I love! I think the only thing that’s missing is a cup of coffee (or a salted caramel mocha - my favorite this season!)

I picked up this blanket scarf back in August while shopping with Jen during her visit. I had been itching wear it and it’s finally cool enough to do so. I feel like that’s always the story of every outfit I’ve been wearing this Fall - I buy something in the summer and I have to put it away while I wait impatiently for the weather to cooperate.
I really love blanket scarves like this though. They’re versatile - you can wear them like a shawl as I’m doing here, or you can wear it like a normal scarf. I have been taking this to the office a lot lately because I’m always cold at work. If you’re also always cold like me, I’m linking a few different blanket scarves for you to check out to help you keep warm this Autumn and Winter.

I have a short neck so I’ve stayed away from turtlenecks for as long as I could remember. As they’ve become trendier as of late, I took a chance on this light knit. I definitely stay away from chunky turtleneck as the combination of my short neck and petite frame would only add bulk when wearing any sweater with a chunkier knit. I have to say, I quite like it.
