Even though I’m back from my blogging break, I’m still on the road. I’m currently in California to spend Thanksgiving with Brian’s family. Let me explain that for you for those who haven’t been following my travels closely: I was in South Korea (a 14-hour flight from Washington, DC) and arrived on the 14th. On the 15th, I went to work to have my performance review at 8:30 in the morning. On the 16th, I jumped on a flight to California (a six-hour flight). Jet-lagged doesn’t even begin to cover it! I think for a few days my internal clock was going crazy! I think I’ve adjusted to west coast time now…which means I’m in trouble when I fly back home after Thanksgiving and I have to re-adjust to east coast time.

In any case, I spent my blogging break traveling and spending time with loved ones. I was hoping to use that time to refresh my blogging process but I admit, I haven’t really had time to think about my blog at all. In many ways, that means my break was a success. However, I do wish I spent at least some time figuring out a way to refresh my process. I got back on Instagram this week and it just felt like playing catch-up more than anything. I was hoping I could come back with a fresh and renewed approach to blogging but I didn’t. I did, however, come back with a renewed sense of how I want my wardrobe and my life to look which is, I might say, even better! I want my blog to chronicle my life, I don’t want my life to revolve around my blog. By having a new and refreshed sense of purpose to my wardrobe, my home, and my life, I am sure to get cool content for the blog out of it - stuff I would like to read, and hopefully, you guys too!
