Christmas is over and now we have less than a week to get ready for New Years Eve! Do you ever feel like you get a Christmas hangover the day after Christmas? Too much eggnog, too much food, too much celebrating! I always feel like I need a break the day after a big holiday. That’s exactly what I intend to do today. I’m staying on the couch, I’m going to drinking tea, I’m watching cheesy movies, and hanging out with my family!

Cashmere sweater

I got this super comfy cashmere sweater from Everlane when they had a cashmere pop up for one weekend here in DC. This sweater is so SOFT! I seriously feel like I could wear it every day and I’m kind of tempted to buy more in different colors. I’m so obsessed! I don’t have a lot of cashmere sweaters but when I compare this to the few I have, this one comes out on top. Not only was it a lot more affordable than my others, it just feels so much softer. Plus Everlane’s pieces are all made ethically and with their very transparent pricing policy, you know exactly what the true cost of this sweater is! I swear, this post wasn’t sponsored by Everlane (though I’d be happy if they do sponsor a post!), I just really love Everlane!

Ribbed Leggings

I’ve basically sworn off shopping from Zara as I don’t really agree with their manufacturing practices, but I reluctantly admit how much I love these leggings I got from them three years ago. They’re super warm, really thick (no panty lines and not see-through) and the ribbing on the side adds interest. I like to call these my travel leggings because I tend to wear them to the airport and during my flights. They’re also great for lounging around in all day until you’re forced to go outside to the grocery store because you ran out of food (speaking from experience).
