An Inspector Calls | Sézane Nicky Jumper and Checked Midi

One of my favorite things Brian and I do is get season tickets to see plays at the local DC Shakespeare Theater. Last Friday, the play we saw was An Inspector Calls. I was excited for this because I studied it when I was in school. Brian was excited because it involved a mystery and political themes. Perfect date night show.

sèzane nicky jumper
I got this sweater along with my Eduardo jumper (last seen here) from Sèzane. I am just adoring her pieces. This designer isn’t all about having a lot of clothes - quite the opposite! They promote having a few quality items in your closet that you’ll love and wear for years. That’s a message I can get behind - especially when your pieces are as soft and gorgeous as this Nicky jumper! The delicate lacing on the inside is such a pretty and feminine detail that I love. The sweater is made of mohair and baby alpaca so you know it’s soft AF! Plus, you can wear this sweater backwards (with the lace on your back), meaning you’ll get more mileage out of this sweater!

checked midi skirt
I can never say no to wearing a chic midi skirt, especially one in a classic pattern! I like that this one has a side slit, really playing up the femininity of the piece. This skirt is actually really thin and unlined so I had to wear tights and tall boots to make this more winter-appropriate. I can’t wait to wear this skirt in the Spring with a pair of fresh white sneakers though!
