We’re doing something a bit different here today: I have both an OOTD and a gift guide! I have a few ideas for you guys if you’re trying to figure out what to get for those pesky stockings on Christmas morning! Full disclosure: I personally never had stockings growing up but I was always good at figuring out the perfect small gifts for hosts of Christmas parties or an socially obligatory, no-pressure gift for a co-worker who’s not really your friend but would be rude if you didn’t get something small for (if you know what I mean?) I think I outed myself as a social loner for long enough. Let’s get on to the gift guide:

Gift Guide: stocking stuffers
Box of tea: I love coffee (obviously) but tea is my drink of choice in the winter when I’m trying to ward off the cold (too late - I already have it). I know I personally would love getting this delicious Moroccan Mint tea and I’m sure there’s a hygge-lover in your life that would appreciate this too!
Invisibobble: I was skeptical of how well these telephone wire-looking hair ties would work but I tried it and I am never going back! They lasted an entire day that included a full work day plus a yoga session! I never needed to re-tie my hair!
Tech gloves: I have Raynaud’s Disease meaning when I feel cold, my fingers, toes, and ears lose blood circulation. It’s not a dangerous disease (nor can you catch it), just an annoying one. It’s also extremely common and affects up to 20% of people worldwide so chances are high you know someone who has it too! Give that person a pair of gloves that’ll ward off cold fingers this season. Even better if they’re tech-friendly!
Pop Socket: Pop sockets are popping up (hehe) everywhere lately and I don’t know how I lived without one! They’re so handy and since I got one, I’ve noticed a definite decrease in the amount of times I drop my phone on my face when I’m in bed!
Sephora lip balm: These lip balms by Sephora have been really popular lately and it makes sense! They’re hydrating (I’m all about hydration in the winter), they smell great, and the packaging is too cute!
Enamel pin: I used to stick enamel pins on my backpack when I was in high school and college and these pins really bring me back! I really love this mermaid one. So cute!
L’Occitane hand cream: L’Occitane makes the best hand creams, hands down (pun totally intended!) I always get these for my mom because she loves them as well and I am so sure you know someone in your life who gets dry hands and would appreciate this!
Anything from Sugarfina: Walking into a Sugarfina is like going to Willy Wonka’s factory but for adults! I really love their champagne gummy bears!
Fresh Sugar lip balm: Can you tell I really love hydrating products in the winter? I LOVE Fresh Sugar products and this is my favorite lip balm from them!
Oyster Ornament: So this one is kind of personal to me but I am obsessed with this ornament from Anthropologie. When I get anxious about something, I sometimes curl up into a ball at home and try to block out things which Brian calls “going into your shell.” When he manages to cheer me up enough to get me out of it, he likes to say that he’s found the “prettiest pearl inside the shell.” I know, I know. It’s sickeningly sweet. That’s the reason I love this oyster and pearl ornament!
Now, to another fun aspect of my blog - the look! I got these pants and shoes on Poshmark! I really love Poshmark because with a bit of patience, I find the best pieces there! The pants are originally from Aritzia - they’re the Wilfred Jallade crepe pants. I LOVE the athletic feel of the trousers with the stripe on the side. The wide legs are flattering and hit me at a good height. Paired with these cute booties from Zara, this is a great work look! In fact, I did wear this look to work. The pants had me comfortable all day! The booties are a kitten heel so my feet weren’t hurting either at the end of the day. Plus, the pointed toes are really flattering!
