Farmacy Dew It All Total Eye Cream with Echinacea GreenEnvy

I started using eye cream since I turned 21. I am of the opinion that an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure so to ward away fine lines around my eyes, I've slathered on eye cream from a young age. I've tried a lot of different eye creams at various price points but still haven't found my Holy Grail eye cream. When I first started using eye cream, I had an entry-level employee salary that I had to make last with rent payments, student loans, and general living costs so admittedly, I had been using inexpensive eye creams. I decided to upgrade just a bit as, obviously, I'm not 21 anymore and have had several raises since then.

I was recommended this Farmacy's Dew It All Total Eye Cream with Echinacea GreenEnvy by a friend who's a skincare junkie. She thought that this was a great product for my eye concerns (puffiness, dark circles, and occasional dryness during allergy season). I've been using it for a few months now and here are my thoughts:

Packaging

You guys know how I get when I encounter cute, creative, or efficient packaging! Farmacy's Dew it All Eye Cream comes in a small round container with a twist off cap. I personally like this kind of open packaging because it ensures that no product is wasted (unlike squeeze tubes). On the exterior, the packaging is clean and simple with a wooden cap. Farmacy touts a "farm to face" line of products with organic, locally ingredients used in their products. You can see how that plays a role in their packaging as well. 5/5

Formula

On to the important item: how well does it work? Farmacy claims that their Dew it All eye cream "aids in reducing the appearance of dark circles and brightening the under-eye area. It moisturizes, helps visibly firm, and restores the appearance of elasticity to the skin around the eyes. The formula contains Echinacea GreenEnvy™, a unique, patent-protected variant of echinacea purpurea that contains a high concentration of cichoric acid, which helps protect the skin by supporting natural collagen and combatting uneven skin tone." It also contains natural ingredients like rosehip extract that help reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles around the eyes. Luckily, I don't have fine lines (yet) but I do like using products for it for prevention purposes.

I've used this product for four months now and I can say that this is great at helping with my dark circles (though admittedly, mine aren't too bad), and reducing puffiness which is something I always need help with. My eye area doesn't normally get too dry except during allergy season and my allergies were out of control this year due to a very high pollen count in the area. Using this eye cream at the end of the night helped so much! I was so glad I had this eye cream (along with my Claritin and eye drops - also this is not sponsored by them) because it helped hydrate and de-redify my eyes. 5/5

Price

This eye cream was $38 which is definitely a bit more high end than what I was using. That said, I think it was worth every penny. I recently used a sample of an eye cream worth $85 and I found this Farmacy Dew it All eye cream to be better (at least for my needs). For that, I give it a 3.5/5

All in all, I highly recommend this for anyone with similar skin and eye cream concerns. I promise, it's worth it!
