Politician Dress | Wiggle Dress and Studded Heels

Hi, I'm Deborah and I want your vote! Just kidding!
Brian likes to call this my "politician" dress because he gets a sort of Claire Underwood vibe from it. I'm not offended, I have worn this dress to political events and it's my go-to for fundraising dinners #advocacylife. It's honestly, just a great professional dress in general - the length is demure, the middle slit isn't too high, the silhouette is very flattering (and forgiving), and the color is lovely! While I don't have any political aspirations, I do like walking around the Longworth building (one of the buildings that a lot of Representatives' offices are) in it.

Speaking of professional dress, I used to do a series on this blog on office outfit ideas. I stopped doing it because I noticed a lot of niche blogs devoted to doing just that and I wasn't sure if I was adding anything of value. However, I think I want to start that back up again. Most of my outfits are for the office. My work has an adaptable dress code - basically, we have to dress in business clothes on days we have meetings with outside people but we can do business casual on days we don't. Plus, I work from home on Fridays so I have a very casual day then (believe it or not, I actually do change out of my pajamas on Fridays because I don't feel productive unless I get dressed for my day.)
