Whenever I wear this dress, I'm reminded of Taylor Swift's song, Wildest Dreams. I originally misheard the lyrics to say, Say you'll remember me standing in a white dress instead of nice dress. I also wore red lips and blush, like the part of the song where she sings, Red lips and rosy cheeks/ say you'll see me again even if it's just in your/ wildest dreams. We took these photos in a relatively newly developed area of DC called the Wharf. It was around golden hour and since I had Wildest Dreams in my head as we were shooting, so I figured I could name my post for those song lyrics.

I got this dress from Urban Outfitters on sale! I had been eyeing (no pun intended!) this eyelet dress since last summer but I just wasn't sure I wanted it so badly with the original $100+ price tag. It then disappeared from their site so I decided maybe it wasn't meant to be. Imagine my surprise when it came back on the website with a brand new price tag at $49? I snatched it up right away. They say this dress is "white" but it's more of a cream color with yellow undertones. I love the eyelet fabric and the button down opening. The length is supposed to be a midi but as I'm quite petite at 5'3", it's more of a maxi on me (typical). I love the classic neckline and the fit is pretty true to size. It's now sold out at Urban Outfitters but I'm featuring a few more dresses that are either eyelet or button down for you

I haven't actually worn wedges in a while but I thought this outfit called for it to maintain the summery vibes. The thing I love about wedges is that I feel more stable walking in them, unlike with some heels, and high ones with a bit of a front platform really feels more stable. Mine were from Forever 21 so I don't expect these to last for too long, though I have really lucked out with the Forever 21 clothes I've bought so far. I haven't shopped there in almost a year, actually so the amount of Forever 21 items in my closet have been dwindling but these have held up for the last year so I'll take advantage while I can. I feel like all of my clothes are old because they're always sold out by the time I post them but like the eyelet dress, I'm listing a few wedge options that are similar to mine here.
