Now that the major holidays are over, I feel like I can finally relax… at least until Valentine’s day. Actually, my office is throwing our holiday party tomorrow so there’s that, but at least I don’t have to plan anything for it! Sweaters, midi skirts, and boots have been my outfit formula for these more casual, laid-back days. I’m not sure why but I am really digging this outfit combination and I can already tell that it’s going to be on repeat for a while this year.
Sézane jumper, two ways
I previously wore this sweater on the blog in this post. In that post, I wore this sweater with the lace trim in the front. According to the Sézane website, you can also wear this sweater backwards, with the lace in the back. That’s two looks with one sweater. If there’s one thing I really love during my spending ban, it’s multifunctional pieces. You really get more mileage out of your wardrobe that way.

Pleated midi skirt
I bought this skirt last Spring but I only wore it twice. Despite the pretty color and the feminine silhouette (both characteristics that made me swoon when I first purchased it), the length of it is awkward on my petite height. During my closet cleanout, I decided to keep it in hopes of finding an outfit that works. Tall boots are the solution! Plus, the blush color doesn’t only work during the warmer months! As you can see, paired with dark colors, it works just as well in the winter as well!
