Tomorrow is Valentine’s Day! Whether you’re in a relationship, single, in something complicated, having fun, or just loving yourself, I hope that your day is special! I’m planning on going out for a nice dinner with Brian and then coming home at a reasonable hour to play board games - seriously. We’ve become quite fond of Settlers of Catan and Ticket to Ride! I know, I know. We’re old! This outfit is what I’m planning to wear tomorrow - red and lace! Perfect combination for Valentine’s Day, no?

Red Midi Skirt

I’ve had this skirt since the early days of this blog. I got it from H&M but considering it’s fast fashion, it’s actually pretty well-made. The fabric is a heavy material that has a nice weight to it and the pleats are well stitched. The textured dots add interest while the color is definitely a wow-factor. I try to pair this dress with neutrals most of the time because the color is just so vibrant!

Sézane Sarah Dress

To be honest, this is pretty much the same outfit I wore for this post, but with a different colored skirt and no tights. I really love wearing this dress as a top but I can’t wait for the weather to be nicer so I can wear it as it was intended to be - a lace dress. I figure the dress would also have been great on its own for Valentine’s Day but I do love wearing red too so here we are!
