April Bullet Journal Setup
I can't even begin to tell you how excited I am about April's Bullet Journal setup! I feel like I say this every month but this may be one of my all time favorite spreads! I went with a tropical leaf theme this month and it's been such a fun (and flexible) theme to incorporate throughout the month.
I hope this post will be helpful for those of guys who are also into bullet journaling!

As I said, I went with a tropical leaf theme this month. I used a couple doodle tutorials on Pinterest and Youtube to get the leaf doodles right. I also added a geometric flamingo to break up the green a bit. For the color, I got a pink Tombow marker and added the color on a plastic baggie and sprayed it with a bit of water, then pressed it onto my flamingo. For the flamingo, I used my Sakura Pigma Micron pens which are waterproof.
Calendar
Unlike last month where I had separated boxes for each day on my monthly setup, I kept the lines connected. A small change and there was no real reason I did this. Just felt like a change.

Habit Tracker and Monthly Goals
I took a leap and changed my habit tracker to a vertical layout instead of my usual horizontal layout. I really like it and I won't have to turn my notebook to fill in the habits I track! For the most part, my Monthly Goals page hasn't changed at all. If it ain't broke, don't fix it, right?
Expense tracker and one line a day
I seriously LOVE having a one line a day page in my bullet journal because it's just such an easy, no -pressure way to journal! I like looking back at the end of the month and seeing what I was thinking about on any particular day. It's so much fun!

Brain dump
Never underestimate the brain dump spread. This is where my best ideas happen!
Weekly spreads
The weekly spreads haven't changed too much but I did have fun drawing different types of leaves to highlight the spreads and the dates. I did one with banana leaves, one with palm leaves and one with monstera leaves (my favorite!). I had so much fun with it!
There you have it! Let me know your thoughts on this theme and if you do use them as inspiration for your bujo as well, please let me know, or tag me on Instagram! I'd love to see any and all recreations!
