My hat says "sea" but I'm only poolside today. I'm not complaining though, my building has a rooftop pool so the view is amazing! I got this cute swimsuit from ASOS and I was excited to wear it for this post. I love that the bottoms are high waisted but maybe I should have found a petite swimsuit because they're so high waisted that it hits me a bit too high, hence it looks like it's cutting into me. The material is also a bit on the thinner side and the top didn't come with any padding. I pulled up an old sports bra I don't wear and pulled out the pads and sewed them onto this top so I solved that problem. Thinking back, this swimsuit may not have been worth the effort for some but I personally love the way I look in it, despite everything.

Brian and I have been hosting rooftop aperitifs with friends every week. Not only does our building have a rooftop pool, but a bunch of grills as well so we've been cooking hot dogs, burgers, and steak for tacos. It's been a hit, especially since we also make cocktails and serve rosé.
