Summer is in full swing and there’s been a heatwave! You’d think with all the flash flooding that comes with that hot weather here in DC we’d get a bit of a reprieve but no, we still have 90+ degree weather with 70% humidity so no such luck!

Little White Dress
Every summer, the little white dress comes back! This year, my LWD is this ruched bodice mini number with puff sleeves that gives a cottage core vibe! I legitimately never thought I would ever like dresses of this silhouette with the big sleeves, but here we are! I just love how doll-like the dress makes me look and how dainty and cute I feel in it! Even better that it’s white and perfect for the summer!
Accessorizing
I added neutral accessories to this look to avoid taking the focus off the dress. First up, I pulled out my old Melie Bianco woven bag out of storage! It’s been a while since I used this bag but I almost forgot how much I liked it until I used it again! I also wore these nude sandals from Sam Edelman that (fun fact) I wore for my wedding! Also from my wedding, I wore these super cute gold chain link earrings from Ana Luisa. The only thing I’d change about this outfit is my Apple Watch - I always forget to take it off before I do photoshoots 🤦🏻♀️
