‘Tis the week of Valentine’s Day but I’m more of a Galentine’s day kind of girl! Every year best friend, Jen, and I send each other gifts. This year, I’m also going to be attending a brunch with some girlfriends. I feel so blessed to have such amazing friends in my life who are inspirational, smart, and overall badass ladies!

Grandpa cardigan
For a cardigan I got from Forever 21 because I thought it was funny-looking and cheap, this piece has gotten SO many wears over the past three years I’ve had it. I reach for it every winter and it reminds me of something my grandmother would wear. But I can’t help it - it’s so comfy and cozy! It’s perfectly oversized and the color is too pretty! Plus, it has big and deep pockets. ‘Enough said!

Tall Boots
These are the same boots from this post where I complained that they don’t stay up no matter how tightly I tie them in the back. Well, they don’t fall down as much when I wear them with jeans. I honestly do love the look of them, even with jeans, so I don’t plan on getting rid of them. I just need a better solution for these boots when I wear them with tights or bare legs. But for today, I’m wearing them to compliment the soft blush tones on this look.
