I’m going into conference week at work soon and I’ve been on-the-go every day! Conference starts this Saturday (I know - I have to work on a Saturday!) and will go through Thursday. I have always said that work conferences are kind of like marathons - you’re just “on” everyday for a while and for long periods of time - you have 6am check-in times, booth duty, dinner meetings and networking parties, sometimes until 1am in the morning! Until Saturday, I’m sneaking in a few coffee breaks here and there, just to keep my sanity.

I realize that I have now acquired a blog uniform as well - this is the second sweater-and-jeans combo I’ve worn on the blog this week! I can’t help it though. It’s such an easy and comfy combination! I have already talked about this sweater several times (including in this post) so I won’t go into too much detail about it so as not to be redundant but I will say that this particular sweater is amazing! I bought it from Tradlands which is an ethical and sustainable brand and this sweater is machine washable but use cold water - I washed it in warm like the idiot I am and it shrunk just a tad. Luckily, I bought this sweater slightly oversized so it now just fits a bit better but just a warning for those of you looking to buy this.

Since I bought this backpack last summer, (and the drama that went along with it), it’s been one of the best purchases I’ve ever made. It’s gone with me to Korea, two trips to California, and all around town here in DC. I seriously love this backpack. It’s definitely more chic than my old Jansports I used to have in middle school!
