August 2019 Bullet Journal Setup
At the end of every month, my favorite ritual is sitting down in front of my bullet journal with all my art supplies and creating a new spreads for the next month. I played around with all kinds of theme ideas in my head but I ultimately landed on what turned out to be my all-time favorite this year: clouds and hot air balloons! I hope you enjoy the spreads I came up with!

Cover page
As I mentioned earlier, I chose a cloud and hot air balloon theme! It was a combination inspired by two of Amanda Rach Lee’s bullet journal themes that I just fused together. I really love the way the cover page turned out and this theme lends to a lot of different things I can do for spreads through out the month! It’s cute, it’s easy to draw and it’s fun!
calendar
I did individual boxes for my calendar this month and I liked how they looked like they were floating with the clouds and the hot air balloons! I think it added a whimsical touch to this spread!

Habit Tracker and Expense Tracker
I went back to doing individual trackers for this month. I kept getting confused with my old way of tracking. It takes longer to draw and and is tedious but I just like seeing my habits tracked this way. The expense tracker stayed the same. I’ve explored a different way to track expenses earlier in the year but it wasn’t helpful to me. I’m going to stick with what works.
Weekly Spread
For my first weekly spread, I drew hot air balloons in black and filled in numbers of the day with a white gel pen. I handlettered the day next to it after I drew a blue line using my Zebra mildliner. I am pretty proud of this layout and I think it looks cute!I can’t wait to create more interesting spreads this month!
