October 2021 Bullet Journal Setup

I am super excited to share today’s bullet journal spreads with you. We’re getting close to October and the weather is really cooling down now so I took inspiration from Shayda Campbell (as per usual) and set up my autumn style bullet journal.

Cover Page

As you can see, the theme for this month is “Autumn tea party!” I had SO much fun creating this cover page. I loved drawing the fine china teapot, the autumn florals and plants behind it, and cutting out the dutch door. Best of all, this was fairly easy to draw so if any of you guys want to recreate this, it shouldn’t be too difficult. The teapot is basically a big circle with a handle and a neck. The blue designs are basically just a bunch of flowers and leaves. The florals behind are easy combos of wheat, berries, flowers with a fall color pallet, maple leaves, and two little acorns. I think it turned out super cute if hand-drawn.

Monthly Favorites

As per usual, I tucked the monthly favorites section right below the dutch door cover page. I like keeping this particular tracker at the front because I’m always going back to it. I left the bucket list blank because I don’t want to spoil my future post on it (later this week), but I’m super excited for October, mostly because my favorite season is Autumn.

Calendar and Gratitude Log

Ever since I realized I can fit one calendar into one page, I never went back. I wish I could say I’m a little miss social butterfly but the truth is, I just don’t have THAT many plans on my social calendar, not to mention most of the time, I write it in my weekly spreads anyway. This monthly calendar spread really just keeps track of things like payment due dates for things like rent and credit cards, and birthdays.

As for my gratitude log, I LOVE having a small space where I can write things I’m thankful for every day. I fell off the wagon on it for a while but it was so nice to do it again throughout September so I am looking forward to doing so in October too.

Trackers

For my trackers, I used my calendar stamps (they are such a godsend!) for my habits but I got a bit creative with my mood tracker. I drew a bunch of little teacups and teapots and every day I’m going to color in a small design on them (like a floral doodle or a leaf) in the color that corresponds with my primary mood of the day. I’m so looking forward to looking at it at the end of the month when it’s all filled up!

Brain Dump

I actually really like drawing little illustrations and doodles on my brain dump page. Because this is a space for whatever is on my mind, I like drawing things that will potentially help foster a creative space. I did a little teacup in one corner of the spread and a teabag in another corner. So cute!

Weekly Spread

I went in a very different direction on my weekly spread than I usually do. This looks a bit more chaotic than the straight-lined weekly spreads that are normally defining of me, but I wanted to try something a bit different. I don’t know, maybe it’s because we’re in my favorite season and I’m in a good mood lately so I’m more open to trying new things at the moment, but this just seemed right. I even cut up a picture of a tea set and glued it into the spread. I actually really like this!
