Rose-Colored Glasses | Handkerchief Hem Dress and Mirror Sunglasses

I'm convinced that I shouldn't be allowed to have nice sunglasses because I always lose them. Remember my awesome folding Ray Ban wayfarers that I wore the crap out of? I lost them during a picnic! I almost cried because they were my favorite and they went with everything in  my closet! After refusing to even look at sunglasses for a while, I saw a cute pair by Feisedy worn by a couple bloggers on Instagram. I looked them up and saw that they were less than $10 on Amazon!! I immediate grabbed this rose-gold pair for my upcoming trip to Hawaii. They have a mirrored coating in the front with a chic cat-eye frame. They are incredibly dark though! If you're in the market for a pair of cute sunnies that will do an excellent job at protecting your eyes, I highly recommend these. Not a promotion (though I would still give my honest opinion regardless), I just really love these sunglasses!
As for the rest of my outfit, I was inspired by the rose gold color of my glasses and decided to pair them with other rose gold or pink-adjacent colors. I bought this lovely handkerchief-hem dress from Forever 21 years ago when I needed a dress to wear to the pool over my swimsuit that would also work for grabbing a summer brunch. I think it looks lovely with this coral clutch (also picked up at a sale years ago). I decided to add a contrasting color by wearing my green t-strap sandals, inspired by the green leaves on the pattern on my dress.
I'm explaining my process for picking out outfits. I think it's something I really should do more here because I want to show you guys how methodical and intentional my pieces are. Sometimes it works, abut sometimes it doesn't and I think I need to be better at showing you the times I fail at putting together a look so you guys can avoid my mistakes the only way to do that is by noting what goes on in my head when I put a look together.
