I've been really into the monochromatic look lately. Perhaps it's because the weather is finally starting to clear up (starting being the operative word here) I have been wearing white from head to toe any chance I can. It's so crisp and clean - absolutely perfect for the Spring!

What's in My Beau Bag

Some of you may remember that I recently made a huge (well, huge for me, anyway) investment purchase on a Kate Spade Beau bag. I actually got the small Beau because after much research I found it'd work better for my lifestyle than the big one (plus with my small frame the big Beau bag seemed to overwhelm me). I wanted a bag that would take me from day to night, work to happy hour, and weekday to weekend. As I get older, I find that I don't have to carry as many things as I used to - no need to lug my laptop around with me all the time anymore (thank goodness!), just a few work and everyday essentials. So, without further ado, allow me to give you a peek inside my Kate Spade Beau bag:

Closet Strategy: Skorts

I'm sure you all remember how excited I was to get these fabulous skorts from Zara last year. However I noticed that some people found them to be a style challenge, especially in the colder months. The thing is though, they're actually quite versatile especially in white. Here are some looks I came up with centered around my skorts:
