Hello lovelies!

I kept a rather neutral color palette for this look today. I simply adore these shoes because the color scheme ensures they go with everything but the lace keeps it from being anything but boring. I also love pointed toes because they help to elongate the legs while the ankle straps add a dainty and lady-like touch to an otherwise casual outfit.

I think that's the kind of look I really like - nothing too out there, just neutrals but... elevated. Little details that make an understated statement, if that makes sense.

It's romper season again!

This was probably my favorite purchase last summer. I wasn't too big on rompers but this particular one turned me into a convert. I wanted to style it a bit differently from the way I wore it last year so I popped on a more fitted blazer with a pair of heels for a more grown-up look. I love the summery floral print of the romper

Workout Hairstyles for Short Hair

I wanted to talk to you guys about hair again - specifically in a workout setting. I cut my hair short back and January and while it's been growing back, It's currently at that awkward stage where it's not as long as I need it to be to put up into fun hairstyles but it's not short short either. Finding a cute hairstyle to work out in has been a challenge but I've come up with a couple of criteria each hairstyle must meet.

1.  Hair must be kept out of my face while I'm running and bouncing 
2. Hair must keep from sticking to my neck - especially while sweating 
3.  Hair must stay in place throughout the entirety of my workout. 

 I've narrowed it down to a few options. If your hair is about the same length as mine, you may want to consider the following styles:

Movie Night: Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt

Last month, of all the TV shows and movies I watched, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt was probably the most memorable and my absolute favorite. I was completely hooked from the first episode and within a couple hours I found that I had finished the entire season! If you guys decide to only have one binge-watching session on Netflix, I would strongly recommend Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt.

Hello everyone!

April has been an exhausting month - I've been trying to get myself as organized and as disciplined as possible so that has been a mentally tiring, yet very rewarding journey. All I can say is that I'm quite grateful for the sun and the bright colors everyone's been wearing in celebration of the weather.

Resolution Update: Organization

This month I wanted to focus on getting more organized.
I used to be one of those people who was so on-top of things but I found myself stressing out over minute details that weren't that important so I resolved to relax a bit. Well, I did that a little too well so I think I need to find a balance between easing up and being organized. Here are a few things I learned along the way:
