May was an incredibly busy month but June is promising to be a bit easier. Last month, I managed to:
- Move house
- Furnish my new apartment (still not complete though)
- Go to California and meet Brian's brother and sister-in-law
- Cook a whole Mother's Day brunch for my mom
- Go to a DC United game
- Attend the last play of the season at the Shakespeare Theatre: We're slated to see School for Lies and I can't be more excited. I'm also a bit sad that the season is ending but Brian and I have talked about renewing our season tickets to continue our tradition!
- See a Nationals Baseball game: What's summer without a baseball game or two? I want to squeeze some time to go and watch the Nats play!
- Read at least three books: I'm including listening to books through the Audible app on this one but I have a few books lined up for this month that I want to have read (including Life of Pi!)
- Celebrate Father's Day with my dad: I have a post coming up this month on a few Father's Day gift ideas so stay tuned!
- Go to Jazz in the Garden: This is a DC summer tradition - they have free jazz concerts every Friday at the Sculpture Garden. I usually bring a picnic lunch with some sangria while listening to some lovely jazz music. It's a treat for sure!
What are some items on your bucket list this month?

I want to read at least one book a week this month! I also wanna check out a baseball game but I likely won't be able to until July haha!
ReplyDeleteI can't believe it's almost Father's Day - wasn't it just yesterday when we celebrated Mother's Day? I hope you get to tick these things off your bucket list!
