I love sweater weather - the crispness of the air and the changing of the leaves makes me feel so warm inside. When I saw this sweater from J.Crew Factory I knew it had to add it to my ever-growing sweater collection! The ruffles on the collar and sleeves are so cute but not over the top. It's perfect for both work and for fun and super comfy to boot.

In other news, I have been going to yoga regularly lately and I'm so loving it! I hate to sound like one of those people who act like they're the first to discover yoga (obviously I'm not) but the amount of stability in my mental and physical health it's given me is amazing! No joke, I come out of ever single class with a huge sweaty smile on my face because the endorphin kicks in and I'm feeling great! Right now I go twice a week (a sunrise flow yoga class at 6:15 in the morning and a yogalates class at 6:30 in the afternoon) and I go running every day I'm not going to yoga. I'm really happy to get my exercise groove back on! If any of you guys are regular yogis please let me know in the comments and tell me what your favorite type of yoga is. I love vinyasa yoga!

I love that sweater its so cute, Your outfit looks os cozy!
ReplyDeleteThis is such a lovely jumper, I love the details at the cuffs and the collar! I've never been attracted by yoga myself, as the whole reflection/relaxation part would probably make me stress out more than anything else (like I've never found breathing exercises helpful for example). However it's awesome that you've found what you enjoy and keep up with it!

I'm not really into slow movements as a form of exercise either - I tried to take a meditation class and I got too self-conscious and it started giving me anxiety! It's the reason why I've avoided yoga until recently. That said, vinyasa yoga is very fast-paced and doesn't really make us reflect/meditate or anything. I get a real sweat going and I since it's so fast, I don't have time to relax or reflect. I highly recommend it! :]
DeleteLove the navy and white together and the ruffles peeking out of your top are the best, great layering! :)
ReplyDeleteI did a lot of yoga while pregnant but it's been tricky getting time to get to the physio to get my muscles healed up enough post-baby for me to get back into it too much, I have to be really careful not to make my abdominal separation any worse. I'm hoping I can continue to improve it, it's going quite well now, as there's a free yoga class by the beach I really want to go to! :)
Hope you are having a nice week so far! :)

Your outfit is super cute. I always love navy and white together and your ruffled under shirt is so so cute. I am so happy you are loving yoga. I don't practice yoga regularly but I love the benefits of exercise in general.
