It's official - I've fallen victim to the 90s grunge trend. I can't help it, it's so easy and effortless! I wore this look out when we had nice weather and now that it's getting cooler, it's hard not to want to throw on my plaid flannel shirts every day. Trendy and easy - my kind of look for sure!

I think this goes without saying (especially if you're a longtime reader of this blog), but I am a really slow adopter of trends. Maybe not the best habit for a style blogger but I'm never sure I can pull off an outfit until I've seen it styled by different people multiple times. I mean, I've only started to jump into the culottes bandwagon right when it was just on the verge of being considered "old news." Always one step behind. Never a trendsetter (shrug). Still, I love the grunge and minimalist look at the moment and I don't care that it's on its way out :]

I love the combination of the dress and the shirt! It looks more sportswear to me than grunge actually, although I can definitely feel a little 90s vibe. It's a really nice everyday look :)

I'm often late to the bandwagon with trends, but I don't think I ever stopped wearing 90s grunge, so I feel a little trend-setty haha. I love this look. Plaid is my everything.
