This post was quite a challenge to put up. Not because of camera or computer issues. It was Mother Nature issues. The day we took these photos it was below freezing! It was 7 degrees fahrenheit (or -13 degrees celsius) and it was all I could do to keep from crying because of the cold. Luckily, I layered up for this shoot which helped.

Something I like to do lately is use invisible layers. Under my tee is a thermal tank top and over that, a faux fur vest! Under my jeans I'm wearing a pair of Heattech tights from Uniqlo and the tall boots add a bit of a layer over my jeans so that definitely helps. If I were not doing a shoot, I normally would put on a pair of gloves and a scarf, but I wanted you guys to see as much of the layers as you can.

The weather has been so crazy lately! One day it's in the 20s the next it's 60! totally agree with solid layers, they're a life saver!

That's some COMMITMENT! No way I would have gone out to take outfit pictures in the cold. I'll stay inside and take pictures of my coffee.

You layer so well! I don't think I've ever been in temperatures that cold! That's probably why I'm not so good with layering, Brisbane never gets that freezing. You did well taking photos in that weather!
