I admit, I'm a stationery addict. It's a bit of a problem but it does help me with my bullet journaling habit.
My last post on my 2018 bullet journal setup was actually one of my most popular posts ever so I decided to do more posts to do with bullet journaling. Bullet journaling is actually a really big part of my life (as is stationery - that's kind of sad now that I write that out...) so I'm happy to get an opportunity to talk about something that I'm really obsessed with! Here are all of the pens that I own:

- Tombow Dual Brush Pens: First and foremost, I LOVE my Tombow pens! They are water-based ink pens that come in a gorgeous color range. I have them in the Bright pack and their new Pastel pack. Additionally, I got two markers (a gray and a pastel hunter green) individually at a stationery store in California. They are HUGE in the BuJo community and with a good reason - the brush tip end is perfect for calligraphy and lettering! The other end of the pens are a fine tip marker that's great for coloring. Also, because the ink is water-based, if you use a brush and apply water to them, it creates a watercolor paint-like effect that's really gorgeous!
- Tombow Fudenosuke Pens: These pens are a sort of companion pen to the Tombow Dual Brush tip markers. They are not as big as the markers but they both have small brush tips that can help create smaller calligraphy letters. They come in a hard tip (my personal favorite) and a hard tip.
- Sakura Pigma Micron Pens: These are by far my favorite fineliners ever! They glide on the paper so smoothly, not to mention the ink is archival quality and waterproof! Once the ink is set, it does not smudge (a huge bonus!) and it doesn't bleed through on my Leuchtturm journal.
- Zebra Mildliners: I love love LOVE these highlighters! Like the name suggests, these are mildliners so the colors aren't bright, just... mild! The colors are gorgeous and like the Tombow markers, they're dual ended with a traditional highlighter tip and a pointed tip on the other side.
- Crayola Supertips Markers: A lot of people laugh when I tell them I still use these classic markers but they're actually great for handlettering! Plus, the colors are bright and gorgeous so they're perfect for coloring in my bullet journal - they don't bleed through the page and there's minimal ghosting on my Leuchtturm!
- Staedtler Triplus Fineliner: No joke, these fineliners were my gateway pens to my stationery addiction! The colors are so gorgeous with no ghosting or bleeding (at least on the Leuchtturm) so it's perfect for bullet journalers.
- Bianyo Metallic Brush Markers: These are brand new to my collection but I recently got these gorgeous metallic brush tip markers. I love (most) of the colors but the brush tip is too flexible and hard to control so my lettering with these come out somewhat uneven. Still, I like the metallic sheen so I like having them.
- Muji 0.38 Gel Pens: I love all things Muji and these gorgeous gel pens are no exception! I use the black pen to do all my general writing but the colored ones are used for my color-coding system. The ink for these are so smooth and the thin tip helps my writing look so neat and pretty!

Are you guys stationery addicts too? What are some of your favorite pens to use?

Wow!!! This is quite the collection girl. I hate to admit I've never put much thought before into buying pens or highlighters (usually just get whatever is cheap haha) but this has kind of inspired me!

Oh don't say this is sad, it's fun to have a hobby! I love gel pens, although I don't do much writing now to need them. I tend to use one of the many ball points scattered around when I need to scribble something down. I'd love to be organised and have a collection like this! :)
ReplyDeleteHope that you are having a good week so far! It's Australia day today, so a public holiday which is nice, we can get some more family time in!

I'm in need of some new pens so I'm going to add a few of these to my list. I remember the Staedtler ones being all the rage in college, so I can see how they helped start of your pen obsession!
