Product Review: Luscious Cosmetics Pout Maker Lip Crayon

I love a red lip but finding the right shade is always a struggle. I have neutral yellow-ish undertones and surprisingly, it's quite difficult to find a nice red lippie that has the right amount of blue and orange undertones that would look amazing on me. It also doesn't help that I'm quite picky - I like my red lipsticks matte, long-lasting (because otherwise, what's the point?) and easy to apply. Fortunately, I was sent the #Tinsel Voxbox from Influenster and in it was a Luscious Cosmetics Pout Maker Lip Crayon in the shade "Queen Bee." They also sent me a bunch of other goodies, some of which I will review here on the blog later. For now, I will review this particular product. As always, my opinions are my own.

Packaging: 

When I first saw this lipstick, I actually thought it was an eyeliner because of it's skinny and sleek look. The tip of the product is also quite pointy which helped when it came to application - it's quite precise which I love when it comes to red lipsticks - I like a sharper edge with my reds! This was efficient and no-nonsense and I liked that 5/5

Formula: 

I was quite surprised how much I liked this! The formula is incredibly long-lasting! I put this on for my outfit post early in the morning (around 8 AM) and it was still on at 4 PM with no feathering! By the end of the night when I went to wash my face it had started to smear off but still, that's a long time and I'm really impressed. It's the perfect amount of matte and I can see this shade being extremely flattering for all different skin tones - warm, neutral, and cool! 5/5

Price: 

While I was given this lipstick for review purposes, I looked it up and found they retail for $11 a pop. I personally would buy a couple more of these in different shades at that price. 5/5

Overall, I would completely recommend this lipstick to anyone who likes a long-lasting lip color and is on a budget. The shade is gorgeous, the application is precise and easy, and it comes at a wallet-friendly price.
